Outcomes Of Our Project |
"When the world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful"
Short TermStudents often have responsibilities in academics and their communities and families. With cultural/gender/societal expectations, there is little to no time left to relax or unburden the mind. Our project encourages students to release their stress, find motivation in day-to-day happenings, and inspires them to create and be creative.
Long TermStudents on the right track with solid mental health construct a strong future; With less stress and more outlets for trouble and creativity, there is more space for academic achievement. According to the Harris Interactive website, 52% of students feel unprepared for college. They have the potential but lack the resources to succeed. This is where our project comes in, preparing students for education, career, and life after high school. Our college and voting workshops cover information that students will cherish and use for life after high school. In addition, the creation of a new club focused on this topic specifically is on the come up!
